Consignment Consignment lists actual stock on hand, against all purchase orders
received, enabling the consignment of pallets quick and easy with minimal
paperwork. ProducePak produces most of the relevant documentation required,
by the click of a button – saving you time and money. Purchase Orders and Agent Quotes Entered either by administration staff or by your agent/vendor, Purchase Orders records all requests for specific produce, eliminating any discrepancies or incorrect orders. The Agent Quotes section allows the creation of quotations for a specific price and date range to be offered to the Agent/Vendor. Delivery Dockets Here you can view any Delivery Docket that has been created in the system along with Delivery Schedules which shows all activities of produce throughout its dispatch and upon being received. This module increases the traceability of pallets by allowing you to document any changes once the goods have been received by the agent/vendor. For example, in the event of a rejection you can record the actions to be taken, that is, where it is to be sent to or who it is to be reconsigned to. Delivery The Delivery Module records the departure of the goods from the Pack House at the time of dispatch. It is the final point at which you can record vital Quality Assurance details, such as temperature.
This is the next step in further automating the Pack House processes. Individual Line Management Bar-code systems manage different lines of produce while the Executive Bar-coding system enables management to easily monitor and control the production line. Through the bar-coding system, every carton is scanned, informing Pack
House staff of the contents of the carton and the exact pallet bay where
that carton is to be placed. Preset instructions enable ProducePak Bar-coding
to automatically palletise as it recognises when a pallet is complete,
automatically printing out relevant labelling and documentation. ProducePak Messaging System (TMS) Keeping you in touch with your business at all times, the ProducePak Messaging System is a series of customised alerts and notifications, enabling a proactive approach to management decision making. TMS allows you to communicate instantly within your organisation and externally to other entities, such as suppliers and transport companies. Preset notifications means that once an action takes place ProducePak will automatically notify the end user of this action. For example: If an agent wants to know when goods have been consigned to them, once the Grower/Pack House has confirmed the consignment, the agent will receive instant notification via any one or more of the following means; email, fax or SMS text messaging. Quality Assurance (QA) Consistent with industry standards ProducePak offers you a simple approach to recording the quality of your produce, necessary for HACCP. It provides increased accountability by enabling you to track quality back to individual packers if need be. The quality assurance records are held in the system and are a useful tool when it comes to the marketing of your product or alternatively, when the quality of your produce is in question by the end user. Materials Inventory Through natural processes the levels of consumables is easily maintained. New purchases are entered by administration staff or can be exported to your existing financial package. Therefore as a product, for example, a carton, is used, stock levels are automatically adjusted accordingly, giving you an up-to-date and immediate stock take. Combining this module with the ProducePak Messaging System will mean that other businesses will be able to receive and view notification of your enterprises’ status, with regards to order levels, for example. By doing so the accountability is spread between the organisations rather than having full responsibility of eg, stock levels with only one party.
This facility records staff labour on lots, meaning that you can see how much the labour component is in your packing/production costs. ProducePak Labour can also automatically produce Staff Workslips saving administration staff valuable time. Data from this module can be exported to an external payroll system saving administration staff even more time as they no longer need to duplicate the same information into your existing Payroll program. With a simple function built into this module there is no need to enter the same record for each packer, instead you only need enter one record and select the ‘Bulk employee’ function to copy the remaining staff who are carrying out the same duty. Financials This module allows exporting of important information to financial
packages. Items that can be exported include sales, purchases, timesheet
summary, timesheet details. This module provides an easy setup which
records the exact manner in which you wish to export your information,
you only need setup your export formats once! The financials module
allows you to specify payment terms for customers, purchase and sales
accounts and more... Marketing This module provides an important set of marketing modules which you can use to identify your most profitable markets, before and after freight!. Use the Marketing module to assess the performance of your agents and customers.
