Production Schedule

The Mobile Production Schedule module allows enterprise wide improvements in the balancing act of supply and demand based farming. Using the Production Schedule, potential shortages, and over supply of product can be detected before it occurs, this allows the business to either find a new buyer for excess fruit or vegetables, or to adjust harvesting methods to manipulate harvest dates and growing times to better suit market prices and customer orders.

Determine Planting Dates
The system allows users to suggest the quantity of product (including complex salad mixes) that is needed on specific dates, the system will then reverse calculate the planting date.

Monitoring Harvest & Yield
The system allows continual monitoring of production where staff are able to continually adjust “predicted” and “actual” harvest dates and estimated harvest quantities. The Harvest projection can be reviewed daily.

Production Shortage/Oversupply Alerts
Based on preferred production quantities and Sales Orders (from your customers [requires Stock Control Modules]), the system can alert staff to any undersupply or oversupply that may be imminent. This gives management time to make alternative arrangements such as purchase stock in, or create a special sale price in advance for predicted oversupply.

Learn from prior production!
The system allows comparison of prior years production for the same seasonal window, comparing yield, weather notes, and production notes, is a useful method of discerning production trends that may effect the current crop.

Long Term Yield Projection
Record long term yield projections. This information can be updated over time, and is later used to predict consumables and other requirements.

Long Term Consumable Projection
Based on the long term yield projection, long term projections of packaging and other consumables can be made. This information can be used for budgeting and coordinating JIT inventory from suppliers.

Short Term Yield & Harvest
Harvest dates, projected yields, and actuals are brought together in the Short Terms Yield & Harvest projection.

Short Term Consumable Projection
Short Term consumables can be micro-managed to ensure the correct packing and other consumables (eg: ingredients) are available in a JIT manner.
