ProducePak can manage inventory used in the production, processing, and packaging of your fresh produce.

Depots
Inventory can reside at an unlimited number of depots of your design. Each depot can have an independent quantity of inventory for each inventory item. The amount of depots created reflects the accuracy of your ability to track inventory. ProducePak allows you to move inventory between depots, and records such information such as the employee who moved inventory, date, time, quantity.

Stock-Take
ProducePak can produce stock-take reports for a selected depot, staff can then mark on the stock-take report any deviations between the actual amount of inventory on hand and the quantity calculated by ProducePak. Where there is a discrepancy, the difference is entered into ProducePak; if the amount of inventory on hand matches the amount for that item calculated by ProducePak then no further data entry is required. The accuracy of your inventory information is closely controlled by the regularity of stock-takes.

Purchases
The Inventory module allows you to record the purchases of products which are used in production and packaging. ProducePak uses the purchase costs to attribute expenses to Crops and Lots that consume the inventory. The ProducePak Financial Module can be used to export Purchase data to your chosen financial package.

Supply Chain Access
The Inventory module of ProducePak allows your business to record inventory used in the packaging process, as cartons are created, ProducePak automatically deducts from inventory the materials used. This allows you to keep an accurate count of the inventory you have on hand. In conjunction with the ProducePak Alerts module, alerts can be sent to selected staff members or inventory suppliers when a product needs replenishing – alerts can be sent via Fax, LAN, Email, SMS. Suppliers can constantly monitor the quantity of goods on-hand for selected stock, thus helping to provide you with better service. Inventory suppliers can access the ProducePak portal to monitor inventory levels of critical supplies. You suppliers can also be alerted of re-ordering requirements.

Reduce Inventory Shrinkage
Stock take information is used to produce “Shrinkage/Waste” reports which highlight the date range in which inventory ‘shrunk’ and the amount of the shrinkage in the date range.

Inventory Tracking
ProducePak allows you to record the movement of inventory including details such as:
• quantity
• time
• date
• employee name
• origin
• destination

Increase Accountability
By managing your inventory, ProducePak can help to reduce ‘shrinkage’ and decrease waste.

Withholding Periods
Record Withholding Periods for selected inventory used in Spray and Water Diaries. Easily report on crop withholding periods from other modules.

Maximum Safe Storage Alerts
ProducePak will alert staff when too much of a particular inventory item is stored at one site. This feature is useful for ensuring government storage regulations can be enforced without staff having to be aware of their particular details.
